As I sit on my back patio and overlook the magestic mountains and stupendous scenery (you have to be here to fully experience it!), I am so grateful for making the decision to move here.

It's been two months since we moved into our dream home and everything that has transpired reinforces the belief that we made the right choice. I landed not one, but two jobs. I am now a reporter for The Progress newspaper. Also, Im working for the View On Magazine. My neighbors are wonderful! There are so many social events to attend and some of them take place on our streets! We had a great happy hour on our cul-de-sac last week. I joined two book clubs, and found meditation classes. I also attend the monthly ladies luncheons.
Charlie Manning, who did a great job (actually, a miracle!) with my income taxes, is now a new friend. Ken Juber and his lovely wife, Lori, continue to take us under their wing and introduce us to more people.
My books "I've Got Class..." and "You've Got Class" are reaching more people. I am now working on a chapter that will be included in a book to help women transform themselves through the arts. There are 22 authors who are collaborating on this book.
We have begun to create my meditation space in my private courtyard. Flowers are arranged on a new plant stand, and statues are strategically placed in the corners. My Buddha one arrives tomorrow. I can hardly wait until it is warm enough that I can sit outside.
My dear friend, Mia and I have been playing around with the idea of writing a book about women in their later years leaving their abusive partners. I am gathering research - buying books on the subject, and interviewing women. If you, or someone you know has information to share, please contact me. I already hav e 2 women who will be writing their own chapters for this books. They want their stories to be told. It will be quite an undertaking, but if it helps other women, it will be worth it!
Every day I wake up and realize how fortunate I am! I am approaching the 76h chapter of my life and I visualize the pages of that chapter being filled with new experiences and insights!
So, I am now signing off from my new home.
Namaste
