This historical novel spans five decades taking the reader into the Great Depression, the pre-war years with the Issues of child labor and abduction. Travel with the Packhorse Librarians and Lorena Hikock across the Midwest. Prejudice and discrimination is prevalent throughout the book, shedding light on the courageous people who fought against it.
